The city of Lincoln is currently in the midst of a massive expansion plan that will add huge areas of housing in and around the city. Sadly, even with the opportunities this brings to build the city out with public and active transport at the heart of all the new design schemes, the local authorities involved have repeatedly failed to have any vision beyond pandering to car drivers.
